Machine accuracy is where mold quality is decided long before the first trial shot. This is the actual machine list of our Humen plant — models, build years and positional accuracy included — so you can judge capability instead of taking a brochure’s word for it.
CENTS Precision Manufacturing operates 36 mold-processing machines in a 2,520 m² plant in Humen, Dongguan: 15 CNC machining centres (Japan Yasoda, Japan OKUMA, Japan FANUC, Taiwan Yongjin, Koruisi, Taiqunjingjin), 3 Swiss GF slow-wire EDM machines, 5 Japan Makino die-sinking EDM machines, 1 Swiss Hexagon CMM, 5 milling machines and 7 surface grinders. Positional accuracy across the park runs from 0.001 mm to 0.02 mm. Injection molding is done on 30 presses from 20T to 300T in the same building.

Of the 36 machines, 18 are imported high-accuracy units from Japan, Switzerland and Taiwan (Yasoda, OKUMA, FANUC, Yongjin, GF, Makino, Hexagon); the remaining 18 are production CNC, milling and grinding machines. Accuracy figures are the machines’ positional accuracy as specified by the manufacturer. “Size” is the working envelope of the machine; “max part size” is the largest mold plate or insert we can machine in one setup on that machine.

Why 15 CNC centres matter on a single mold
A precision mold is not one part; it is dozens of machined components that must fit together at ±0.01 mm. Capacity is therefore about having the right machine free at the right moment — which is exactly what an integrated machine park buys you.

Because the machines sit on one floor, a die-sinking job that needs a wire-cut electrode re-cut, or a core that needs one more grind before trial, is a same-day decision rather than a three-day round trip to a subcontractor.

30 injection molding machines from 20T to 300T
Trial shots, bridge runs and series production — on the same site that built the mold, with the same people accountable for the part.
Anti-dust and assembly: the plant includes a mould workshop, a plastic injection workshop, an anti-dust moulding workshop and assembly workshops — so parts that need a cleaner environment, or need to leave as an assembled and packed product, do not have to travel between factories.

2,520 m² in Humen — China’s Town of Mould
Dongguan’s Humen town is one of the densest mold-making clusters in the world. That is not just marketing: it means steel, standard components, heat treatment and specialist suppliers are hours away, and the labor pool is trained in mold work from day one.
What is inside the plant
- Mold design office — 10 mold design engineers working in 3D, plus 5 QC inspectors.
- Mold machining department — the 36 machines listed above, laid out by process so plates and inserts move in one direction.
- Injection molding department — 30 presses, 20T to 300T, with material drying and handling.
- Anti-dust moulding workshop — for parts that need a protected environment.
- Inspection centre — Hexagon 860 CMM and Zeiss Contura with climate-controlled metrology room.
- Assembly and packing — snap-fit, ultrasonic welding and retail-ready packing.
Automation, not heroics
Most of the mold machining load runs on automated cycles on the imported CNC, wire-cut and EDM machines, which keeps dimensional consistency independent of who is on shift. The toolmakers set up, verify and intervene — the machine holds the tolerance.
