Two-cavity injection mold with a bright machined cavity block and two round cavity pockets
Photographed in our plant in Humen, Dongguan

Container tooling looks simple until cycle time and roundness matter. In a two-cavity cup mold the two cavities must fill and cool at the same rate or the parts differ shot to shot, so gating is balanced and the cooling circuits are laid out symmetrically around each cavity.

We machine the cavity and core inserts, the plates and the ejector system in our own plant on 36 machines, hold mold work to ±0.01 mm, and verify the assembly on a Swiss Hexagon CMM before the first trial. If your cup needs a specific stacking rib, lid fit or wall reduction, that is settled in the DFM review before steel is cut.

Typical applications

  • Drink cups and tumblers
  • Food and storage containers
  • Cosmetic jars and lids
  • Paint and chemical pots

Next step

Ask for a DFM review and a price for your part

STEP/IGES/X_T files, the resin, your annual volume and target market are enough to get a mold price, a cycle estimate and the risks we can see — usually in 1–2 business days.
